Arena has two different modes for mixing data with the maps: reviews and booking. To show the reviews left by previous customers we can display the map and render seats depending on the average ratings of reviews.Viewing seat reviews#
On selecting a seat, a scrollable popup will appear with the reviews left for that particular seat. Each review will show the review score, date of review, author and any information provided by the reviewer.On hovering over a seat, you will see an expanded tooltip with the overall review information. If any additional information is relevant to that seat, i.e. whether there is a restricted view notice, this will also be displayed in the expanded tooltip as it would when purchasing the seat.Legend#
The legend shows the colour scheme associated with the seats, in the default case for reviews this would be a red-to-green colour scheme. This is so that people can easily identify the average review score for a seat without having to drill down further into each particular seat. Our rating system is based on a 1 to a 5, with 5 being Excellent.Controls#
In the upper right of the map there are controls which allow people to navigate the zoom levels on the map. By default this is shown on all maps, however this can be configured to be hidden so may not always show. There are also zoom and pan controls through mouse and/or touch events so controls are usually hidden when there are spacing concerns (i.e. on mobile devices). Modified at 2025-03-20 09:48:07
